Sunday Swap...help supporting the QHRP

So...I arrived at 7....only an hour after everyone else.....I thought the oval would be packed, but it wasn't...seems it's always a battle to get a full roll up at some of these events...

Took a few pics of some of the hot rods, there were plenty more cars there, but i wass torn between taking pics for you...and hitting the rows to find more parts to buy...that i probably won't use for years to come.....don't we all do that?

Two of my favourite cars side by side....36s and 28s are my favourites....after the deuces..
If you know me....you know i prefer cars like this traditional A., compared to the loosely termed "rat rod" style in the background...same amount of work in some cases, but I just can't figure out why they have become so popular....the dual rear wheeled one certainly had people looking!!
 1930 Briggsmobile..

40 something year continuous membership of Rods Inc...George Higgins, you're a legend!
The workmanship on this 57 is brilliant!....
Someone asked if this was mine...I said no....similar....(who's is this, and then it Twigged.).......

A dansie looking late model ford..
 delivery!...cool car!
Scriven had the white shoes on....
 selling..

 humpy!

Don had the ASRF stand busy all day..

The 1st Bayou Roundup....as seen by Texas Les..

I'll let the pictures tell the story.......but from what i hear, it was a success for a first time event, and will only get bigger in years to come..

There was an inside pavillion with invite only cars allowed to park..

our good friend Sid Cruze had two cars in there..

just another to walk past maybe...but wait.....
yep, it has a nice interior..

but even nicer woodwork up in the roof...
and that interior...simple, but dramatic, all in one..

look out...rowdy rat rods rollin' in...
 very nice period deuce sedan..

 The Burroughs family latest addition..

 the old OLDs pwrd sedan
