bit of this n that..

Les W found this neat pic of flathead intakes
my son had to go to Bundy for Xmas...called in to HELL TOWN HOTRODS on the way

been looking through lots of my old stuff from my life lately, to add to the various history sites on the net....my fifteen minutes of fame in the AHRF?ASRF..
cool pic of me in the old 55 Chev race car...going into stage against American Jim Campos..1995 era
John Davies found these somewhere....fun look at old time car sales..check some of the prices..

well...that's it probably for this year...this is how I feel after Xmas....need a couple of days off to enjoy the start of 2017, and in no time, we'll be back in the swing of things....like my Coffee morning #59...only 10 days away....

and...spare a thought for those around us who are not feeling the best....for those locals who know, I will try to keep you updated with our friends....like Darryl K....he had his open heart surgery yesterday...post op late yesterday arvo, then went  to ICU last night, .....fingers crossed and prayers sent for a speedy recovery..

early ford rear axle

Quick change rear ends are always popular, and this one from 'Rodsville" in Texas is one of the more popular lately.....$1495 on their web site...but more is neede to make the axles a little bit more user friendly, and below is a few pics showing how they upgrade..
saw these photos on the net about how "Hot Rod Works"  from Caldwell, Idaho changes early rear ends to take later axles.

probably won't get to post any more until a few days from now....family comes first...
all the best for the season, and keep those around us in your thoughts...
quite a few of my friends are not firing on all 8 at the moment..so if you're the praying type, say a few them, not just now that it's Xmas..but always..
there's always  others needing some help ...a text..a phone call..or a visit never goes astray..
Take it easy..enjoy this festive season, and will be back blogging soon.....Greg & Anita...
