My quest to re-collect all the old aussie magazines is coming along, with a new found supply for my missing AHRs..fingers crossed I get to fill the gaps..
Got this one coming, last in the set I needed....
Bob Hamiltons A bucket at castlereagh, mid 60s.
Keep forgetting about these cars..Bill Jones had these a couple of years ago, wanted $4000 the pair, a 63 Compact, and the rusty Falcon below...any interest?, phone WELDWELL ENGINEERING, Brisbane.
aren't Buicks the best looking nostalgia engine.
Bro-in-law bulit this T bucket in 1975..started off running 11 second quarters...went all the way to low 10 second passes
this two pages show the first proper drag meet at Castlereagh, Sydney
still got a few of my coffee cups left over from the 100th...$10 each!

Tony Fox also has this roadster for sale, think it's $65,000 as well..0403 838 668
speaking of Tom Fulton...he has now driven his ARDUN motorvated coupe around the block..just about ready, just has that difficult job left of fitting fenders!!
the Bill Smith, now Matt Black coupe nearly finished, restored pretty close to how it was 40 years ago..
and, I hear the Ronnie Wilson roadster has found a home back in Queensland..love this A roadster..
