A lunch run, and some from Canada

So, today was my August mid week run....and also, the day that rain was predicted...well, about 9:30, it bucketed down, for about 15 minutes...then nothing for the rest of the run...stopped for a coffee at Meadowbrook maccas, then took the 35 minute drive to Green Frog Hollow Cafe...I like supporting them , as the owners also support hot rodding thru their Oz-Rods business...
not many starters in cars..only 15 in the end, maybe the fear of the thunderstorms scared people away..still, the 40 that sat for lunch had a great relaxed time, and the improvements and new seating were very good...enough room now for at least 100!...me n the Captain got the power-park..
Cols Mercury looking great as usual..
love the diversity of hot rods and US early iron...
 Ricks Comet looked the part..
plenty of parking, we only took the front row near the road...where was everyone else today??
 the new seating area..

so thanks Tricia, for making us welcome...a great day with friends..

Next..Canada..
Tony Fox (on the right) is currently in Canada..no doubt we will get to see some different cars.
Following are some pics from a small car show in Vancouver...
Fire in the hole!

Ok...the rains pelting down now..and BIG electrical lightning booms..better get off this computer..
