Bathurst Day, means it's my October coffee morning!

Well, after the prediction of rain for Sunday, I didn't think I would get another dry event...but..68 in a row now with no rain..amazing...
and considering it was the annual "guys glued to the TV set for bathurst", there was a great roll-up..about 55 someone said..
Leon had his T coupe, and showing off the rare Toyota Hemi..
classics..love the diversity that comes along...
The back row lately is filling with lots of 60s/70s cars

under the shade...and talking away..what it's all about..2 to 3 hours, and time to head home

couple of new cars above and below..

So..I talked too much, and didn't get many photos...next coffee morning i host is hee again, on November 5, just before Yamba Rodrun starts.
saw this on the net..a 32 vs a 49....no contest...
my son saw this Amarok with the rusty wrap...looked the part!

I won't be here, but next weekend is the huge Harrigans show at Jacobs Well...
sneak peek at another new car in the build....

and..for my over seas friends that follow this blog...today was the aussie traditional "sit in front of the TV for 8 hours"...Aussies iconic motor race is held at the Bathurst circuit called Mt Panorama...6km race track up a mountain and back....well worth having a search on the net to see some in car of helicopter shots of the race...it's scary just driving a street car around there, much less doing it at race speeds, and today, in the wet...been racing there since the 1960s when the cars were more like above..sorta showroom stock..but now, outright race cars with probably the best onboard filming of any race meet..take a look!
