Who else has been busy this early in 2019!!

So much has happened in the last 4 weeks, what with Xmas, New Years, grandkids, making sure things are in place for events that will be on us in no time..it just gets so busy...don't know how I managed when I worked as well!!...So..Qld swap season starts soon, with the Chev Clubs Rocklea swap on at end of January, then the big Toowoomba Swap 1st weekend February.
Won't be long before the Nationals are on, only about a dozen weeks to go...got your entry in?..accommodation sorted?...but so many more events are on before that....
Lucky for me, I intend winning this thing, so I can go to everything!!

I had to change my 2019 events calendar, added a couple more coffee mornings in, also added a different date for the Rathdowney lunch run, but the other biggy on here is gearing up for my own 7 day rod run, now only two months away....
And it tags onto the back of the Toowoomba Rod Run..entry forms are out for this one, who's making the annual trek to Toowoomba..1st for the swap in Feb., then on the 8/9/10th March for the rod run...and...come along with me on my 7 day run that leaves from Toowoomba Sunday arvo, 10th March.
And..another event I'm trying to save for, would love to go back to the USA Strret Rod Nationals in early August for the 50th NSRA Nationals...huge numbers of aussies going this year, would be one not to miss....so help me by buying some of my excess parts below......pretty please..
Just a recap...even though I have sold lots of parts in the last 4 weeks, I still seem to have this treasure trove of years of collecting...like this bunch of rams horns..
and a few asst. steering columns..
 1932 badge
f*#k the fenders....or Fit those fenders badges....
some gauges still here..and a stack of new and used pedals..
 454 intake manifold...or door-stop.....and a few sb 2 barrel intakes..make an offer!
still got some HRI and AHR books available..$10 each.
couple of Hurst or B&M shifter mechanisms, $40 for the LH one, $30 for the RH one.
a quarter stick shifter, with the cover, and a cable..$125
new windshield frame that fits some sort of 33/34 Ford I believe..I assume that it is chopped. looks kinda small...I'm thinking $250
for comparison, I have this other unknown frame, sort of like a Duvall shape, looks like made from brass..no idea what it fits, but guess it could be modified to fit something...gotta be worth $100!
Yes...I bought more books...I didn't really want to, as I already have everyone of these..so I have sorted and packed in boxes, with the approximation of what is inside, plus the pricing...these are all CRUZIN magazines....(that first box has the ultra rare issues from Number 1 !!!
 more CRUZINS..
 more CRUZINS
I have about 300 spare ASRs from issue one..just let me know what you need and I can do a package deal..
Have a new thermo fan I won't be needing..was $280 or so new, now way cheaper..
I'm sorting my 9" and 8" housings, axles, brakes, so let me know if you need  anything specific, and I can go digging...greg@comstar.com.au ...I do know I have a spare bare 9" F100 housing, later 70s-80s style..need $150 for it.
Look at this...the table has just about been cleared and restocked a couple of times as parts sell..
amazing what you accumulate, but (almost) everything is going for sale.
found some panhard bar kits I forgot I had, priced from $100

how about an old school style driving light and bracket for $65
even found an old Holden 6 flywheel under the bench...that would be from when I built my sons EH ute for his 17th birthday.......he turned 40 last year !!!!!
what about a 4 bar kit for a model A, no bushes or adjusters.....and a panhard bar...sure it's old chrome, but still usable as is..the bars are worth $150, and I want another $100 for the bat wings and panhard....and I'll throw in a can of black paint to hide the chrome....just sayin"....
anyone need a pair of these to suit early Ford brakes?...$20 the pair.
The Rodders Journals are selling well, only about 20 left now, most in the #35 thru to #55 copies..$12 each plus postage.
got these HRIs as described earlier..
 and these AHRs..including issue # 1.
some gas tank caps for 1932 to 1948 Fords..various prices..
 pair of thru-frame fittings..
I have some new early Ford donuts, and a pair of the mounts to suit these, when attaching to any small block Chev...the mounts had surface rust, so I am painting them, but I will sell the kit of brackets with the cushions and bolts for $100  greg 0437323133.
anyone collect these MUSCLE CAR books..some early issues here, $5 each or $100 for the lot!
Not sure what to do here...these supposedly sold on ebay..but after a week, the buyer has not been in contact...so if you need a complete full set of CUSTOM RODDERS, talk to me.. 0437 32 31 33.

Welcome to 2019..Best wishes to you all.

I have re-done my events list for the year..It always was going to happen, that when my coffee mornings became so popular, it seemed I should have addressed a common format, in as much as advertising them in a way people can remember..so for this year, and I assume beyond, Coffee runs to Victoria Point Lakeside will always fall on the first Sunday of the month..easy to remember..easy to tell friends..and if by chance it clashes with other events, so be it!..The choice is yours....even I have missed some of my runs over the years by being away..but now, this should work well.....
Also, I added in a lunch run on May 2nd to Rathdowney..this replaces the date I had from a week prior, that happened to be Anzac day.so all good...print this off and keep it handy!!
\And, as per usual, I always put in place the necessary sanction for being able to drive limited registration vehicles..might not hurt to print this off and keep it with you as well..
So..Coffee this coming Sunday, Jan 6th..my 84th coffee run , 7am start, at the back car park behind the library, Victoria Point Lakeside Shops, Bunker Road..
My cleanout is going well!..Lots gone already , and I just keep finding more..here is my spare Kiwi Connection 1932 chassis, that is being offered for sale as more of a package..
It will come with the frame as pictured, a narrowed 9" round back housing with shortened AU Falcon axles, a pair of Coil Over shocks, a bunch of brackets and bushes I bought from So-Cal to make up one of their ladder bar kits..you need to buy the tubing, also I have a new Rod-Tech brake pedal assembly....all what I described for a total price of $5,000.

The shocks that go with it...
The SoCal parts to make a ladder bar kit..
The 9" will look like this, and the ladder bars how they will go..(This is a pic from my last roadster where I used exactly the same width rear, same SoCal parts, but I used a 40 spring rather than coilovers)
Les Winter left these wheels for me to sell...he purchased the set of four WOLFRACE wheels many years ago, and at one stage, had the rear wheels on his Tudor....Selling all four, as shown, $1000.
The rears are 15 x 8.5", 4 1/2" Ford pattern, 3.75" back spacing, and he did give them a very fine sort of clear coat finish, which can be paint stripped off if you prefer to fully polish them..
Fronts are 15 x 7, with 4" back space, Regular Ford 4.5" pattern.
Now..wall art maybe?..start of a project??..I have this "straight out of the mould" 1932 roadster cowl..and a new Deuce Customs firewall...put them together for wall art or whatever...$600 the lot!
Cowl above also has dash..firewall below is very good repro of a stocker, complete with feet..
