Yep, last week was just to risky with the thunderstorm threat, so today was the opposite..a perfect day, maybe a tad hot, but once there, and seated in the open garden area out the back, just brilliant...great food, terrific service, and they gave everyone who wanted some, a loaf of bread to take home...thanks to the owners for a great day out
I didn't count the people, but 22 cars turned up, with a few street cars in the mix, so about 35-40 of us made the short journey to Fernvale..Dave had the 40 out again for a test drive, now with a different flathead power, and a 5 speed box..kept up with those overhead engines easily!!Tom Fulton back in the scene...40 years ago had a yellow deuce roadster, now back with a yellow Cusso, and a 34 coupe in the build stages...
always a good mix of cars...next one will be big..end of year at Sandstone Point..details later..
looked hot, but it wasn't..those shade trees did the job!..
Oops..sprung with a 33 table number...don't worry..I soon moved...lol
Thanks for coming everyone..see you all maybe at my coffee morning this coming Sunday, 5th November, at Victoria Point.......then for a lot..off to Yamba!
