Destination was Craig Lockharts East Coast Race Cars shop at Wonglepong...where's that!!...1/2 way up the mountain out the back near Tamborine...top spot to live and work...
always high calibre cars on the go here...
and the guys were busy as beavers soaking up all the cars/parts..in the end, i think we had 28 turn up..even Boydie came all the way from Broadwater..just a 2 hour drive....
what these days are all about...talking cars and whatever..
left my Tudor at home today and rode shotgun in the captains 40 coupe..that little flattie gets along now with the 5 speed overdrive box..
parking was up hill, down dale...

here it is in the 60s, in this Early Times photo..yep..same coupe..was owned then by Jerry Slattery...had a couple of aussie owners before Craig turned it into his own ride...neat story.....
