My blog can now be posted more often, thanks to all the random photos that les is taking in Texas.....these are from "this weeks" swap meet....
Wouldn't you like to see this sort of material at an aussie swap meet...instead of the odd Rugby tourer...an Austin A50 project...XD body needing a new owner.....boring!!,
And, instead of all the XE heater boxes, Corolla hubcaps, and Austin Lancer front suspension, we could be looking at good bits like this!!
Even the transport is cool...looks like a Cushman....
Les mentioned that the Columbia was priced at $1800......been many years since I've seen one of these for sale...KB...remember the 36 sedan we used to look at down the road from Alan Belchers/Camp Hill that had one of these in...
The local dealer for Chev panels has this rig...look at the wheelbase needed to get the kick-ass sleeper fitted....trucks almost longer than its trailer!!
There's a lot of "here's what you shouldn't do" pics that I wondered about showing...like this Stude bodied, Corvette chassied...ummmm....vehicle.
Now we're gettin' to the good stuff.....here's the start of someones dream car.
"Gasser project anyone!"...still plenty of tri-5 bodies to be had.
Now this is cool.....I love wagons...this would do just fine, for me!...and another weird encounter for les...he spent the night at a Motel near here....and "bumped' into Craig Bloomer, former owner of Calif. Speed Supplies....I heard that Craig was now living in Los Angeles...but what's the chances of them being at the same motel in Texas!
