Memphis-Arkansas-Oklahoma-Texas

Middle East oil money comes to drag racing...this team called NAS Racing had three new beautifully detailed semis, one for each Camaro race car, and one just for hospitality..they had the who's who of US drag racing crew chiefing/wrenching/

 check the fat tyres..
 awesome paint
 900 cubes, injection with nitrous..
it was all 1/8th mile racing, and about 100 door cars turned up
 sorta looks like a willys
The different style of race car haulers was amazing.....lots of $$$$$ here.
Twin turbos on 900 cubes...little turbos on the waste gates

Our friends Camp n John Stanley have this rig for their worlds fastest n quickest Camaro.......but as fate would have it....they didn't qualify for the tough 16 car field

We went through two areas that were hit by tornados a few weeks before..so sad..

Trees ripped apart, trailer trucks turned over, debris everywhere for miles..
Lots of history on the back roads we took

Couldn't find the Eiffel Tower though...
I always flick around the back streets in these tiny towns..never know what you will find...like this old Model A

lots of wall art in some towns.
The tow laws in USA never cease to amaze me..even saw a semi flat towing another backwards, with an F series mounted up between them....

Had to stop for a look at the worlds second largest Casino at Thackerville, Oklahoma
8:30 sunsets in these parts.....coming into Fort Worth, Texas.
