"oh what a wonderful time we had, the day we went to Bribie".........(remember the wayne-poo song)

My June mid-week rod run for retirees was to beautiful Bribie Island, many thanks to Graham Cowan for helping with the destination.....
And here is both..Spinnaker Sound mariner on this side of the bridge first, then across the other side to the Bribie Island Pub...
The roll up was fantastic...cars waiting for me everywhere when we first got to the BP.
First destination was to the Marina, where host Brian Waters from Vintage Tyre Sales threw open his shop/come museum/car collection for all to see.
Lots of regulars, and some new northside retirees as well!

Kevs new 34 made the long haul....all of 5 miles!..didn't even open the thermostat probably!!
as usual, Pauls ASRF winning Top Hot Rod was checked out over n over..

Final count for the run was 35 cars..best yet!!

Now here's a rare one..Ford retractable hartop was open for all to see.
This looked like a small space, but it was overflowing with cool cars and parts

Largest collection of tyre ash-trays I have ever seen..

Brian Waters had catered for the group with coffee and cakes as well, without knowing how many would turn up, so thank you for letting us call by..
Ample parking at the pub, with a great view back to the water of Pumicestone Passage

We took up all the end space for dining...over 50 seated, not a bad roll up for a mid week run!
