Got nothin' for ya!...

Just spent the last 5 days with one of my other loves...going away in the caravan...I had always driven past the Lennox Head turnoff...this time, we stopped!

 and..while off hot rodding, and on caravans...Brother in law Col was there, and had his new US built for Australia "CELL"....very flash.....but...

 he needs to sell his old van...only about three years old, and custom bulit to his specs at around $80,000....it is very nice, but now has to go to a new home....

 check the  PARAMOUNT website for the quality...or better still, phone Col on 0407 161 971......

pretty sure he is willing to take a $$$$ figure somewhere down in the mid $50000sands...about a $30,000 reduction off what a new one would be..

 and again, while on caravans...I (think) Les W wants to sell his van when he gets back to Australia in a couple of weeks..if so, I will get the exact details..but some pics to start off with..

Les just put the frame from his coupe up for sale...did I show this before??...Kugel front, Jag rear, Chev etc., etc.,...$15,000 U>S>..it's in Texas...so a bit hard to get home...

 so...let me finish off my drink from the weekend....get myself organised to go to a Melbourne Cup function tomorrow, fix a few things on the van, clean up the shop, check the 32 over, and get ready to head south again next week !!

and...I will try to keep you entertained with a bit od hot rod stuff in-between...

 I can remember seeing this pic as a teenager, and always wanting some sort of bucket..painted red..

this roadster above looks the part, with the bright paint, and white/blue trim, I'm not sold on the 32 grille, I still think early As need to have there own grille...30/31s, not so important..

and..what memories I have from my little red Y-block powered bucket, that I later painted yellow, and fitted a 283sb...ex John Davies-Ken Isaacs...and then I sold it to by my first house..last I heard the chassis was in Gympie...wonder where the body ever ended up??  anyone know?
