So...after a bit of rain on the way down,..Newcastle foreshore looked like it might be cloudy but dry..
And the Friday was reasonable..just a few showers...here's Glen n Sue trying for a power park next to my trusty/crusty tudor..
Nats always brings cars I have never seen before..
Townsends by two..
Charlie Falzon hit the mark with this!
Luv it.....25K from memory....I'd have to change the wheels to grey spoke Americans though..
found this old 31 on the side of the road in Taree...we swapped the tudor for the A, and I hauled it to the event.....(so I guess I did drive my Tudor sort of to the nats)
Shane had a ball as usual......
Shane Winnen likes his toys...BB and a Jerico make this one fun
A pair of Western Stars....Case Linehaul were in attendance....

Nats are done...back to the grind..
First reminder...coffee morning this Sunday, 12th April..
And here I am at the roadster show last year with Gary Mole...young dad with a family, but he gets stuck in when he can with his A roadster project..
And it always helps to sometimes just get a bit of trial assembly out to see how the car will look......chev into a 28/29 without a cut firewall..= tight squeeze!!
single car space to do it is always tough..but the results show...this will be a Top 10 car!
28/29s have the best look in my opinion, the way henry had the fenders "flow" around the front wheels, the cowl and hood shape.....just beautiful!
Halibrands always look great....wonder what colour....bright red....bright yellow...british racing green....HR Holden blue......fergie grey..... FJ ute cream ...or 60s candy apple blue..that's what I would mull over if it was mine...
here's a pic from the nats...check back later today..should have all three hundred on the site...gotta go wash the crud off the bottom of the sedan.......
