#782..dare I say it again..'Winter in America is cold....."

Les wasn't looking forward to the change in temperature...and sure enough, it was cold in downtown USA
and...you know you're back in Texas, when the gals wear their spurs into the fast food outlets..
First weekend back was off to a small car show/run..

drilled a set of radius rods to go on Charlies Tudor..
Fender-less-Les dragged the old faithful outa storage..sure looks purty still..
and..time to get the 5 window out of storage and down to Dirtys Speed Shop for the total refurbish..out with the old frame/Kugel independant/sb Chev/horrid wheels, and into a new frame/buggy springs/quick change...and a HEMI
Les sent the brackets over to his family (joke) at Winters, so they can install the spring hangers before the housing ends
chilly day, but went to Decatur swap meet, not far from Dallas/Fort Worth..$8500 on this beauty..
no price on the fat fender coupe..
late style, but alloy drums are worth getting in any style..LW owns them now..
 tired A bone was $6000
 Tudor body was $3000
 stationary engine powered this...um..thing..
$10,500 would say..come on in, spinner..
N.O.S. Romeo Palamides ..1950s 4 spoke rare as...now in the LW collection, I hope.
 late A tudor was $11,000
coupe body was up there at $18,000...
$4500 would buy this cream puff..
best buy had to be the coupe at $8200...wonder who bought it....I know some aussies that would have nailed it down.....Steve C----John D-----Roem C-..
certainly looks great in the pics..
No going back to the swap on Sunday..went local to our favourite coffee run at Busy Bees Bakery

forgot..Les sent this pics to pass on to the TAC...looks like it'll work......

Thanks for the pics Les..keep them coming so I can keep my blog-followers happy...
and...this is a long shot, but if anyone out there wants an old race motor to rebuild, Les has left his alloy Hemi for me and David to dispose of...needs lots of parts to rebuild it, but if you need 2500 Horsepower..this is a good start!
please mention it to anyone you know in the drag race game...get it sold, so Les can buy more early Fords!!
