Lunch run to Lowoods Club Hotel...and some interesting engines

My lunch run went through the back roads around Marburg...as usual, thru some road works, and on to Lowood..
 not a bad roll-up..about 40 people in 15 cars..

always a great to see people chating away, the whole idea of my day..to use our cars, but to spend the time together ...next month..Boys day Out...August, Mid Week Lunch run to the Green Frog Hollow Garden Centre and Restuarant at Yarrabilba

The conversation about flathead and banger motors came up recently, and all the wealth of engineering that went into building performace into them...I decided to look up Google Images and found not only these, but other 4, 6, and 8 cyl builds...so here's some more of the more interesting looking ones...enjoy!

Thuis is the Duggan headed 308 I owned, and should never have sold..so unique.
