Forgot to mention, after the coffee run, I had to go pick up Nitas mum...we moved Clare into an aged care facility a few weeks ago....she (and the staff) were wrapped to see her get picked up in a hot rod....gotta look after the oldies!!
So, as you know, the 32 is back home ready for re-assembly, and trying to find the correct bolts, the hidey hole I put things, and the removal of paint to make bits fit, well, it's fun times ahead...I love this part of the build...added some Dynamat to keep out heat and noise, even though the floor/firewall is double paneled..it all helps.
Took a while to get the cowl vent working and sealing, but it seems ok, and no to tackle the spaghetti....wiring needs to be tidied a little....no, maybe a lot!
I have always like using these electric swithes for the brake lights, relatively easy to mount, inexpensive, and they don't quit like the hydraulic ones.
Now you can see why the big recess to accept the Accel HEI distributor.
out of focus...but windscreen on, gauges in deck lid fitted etc.
Now to tackle the cycle fenders...wish we could run without them!
Even mounted the dummy fuel hoses to the tank, complete with look a like fuel in the lines! headlights back on...it's getting close.
