Another legend gone way too soon...R.I.P., Geoff Paradise

Some of you out there  knew Geoff...to others, this man was an icon in the Australian motorsport publishing industry, and his untimely passing reminds us all of how fragile life is, and how important it is to live out life to the fullest, never putting off anything, as you don't know what can change in an instant..as you can see, Geoff had a bad car accident, and fought for a few days, but passed away Monday 16/2.
Some of us knew Geoff from the early days of drag racing and hot rodding, but his rise to publishing fame came when he turned a small magazine called Van Wheels into the largest selling auto mag in Australia, "Street Machine"

Geoff went on from Street machine to bring lots more to the automotive press, including Performance Street Car, Caged heat, Fast Fours and Rotaries, National Drag Racer, Coach and Bus, as well as others....Geoff even travelled to USA in the 70s for a brief stint working on iconic US "Hot Rod" magazine. In recent times, we re-connected through social media outlet, "Facebook", and had a few brief conversations over the last year...he even found a 1973 Indooroopilly Hot Rod Show iron-on that he sent me for my collection...we talked about his projects, his freshly built hemi, his C10 pickup...all now never to be finished because of an instant moment, a trajic car accident that robbed us of a great man...

Geoff...you published magazines in the various sports we love...what you loved....condolences are sent to your family and friends.........you will be missed.....Rest In Peace, mate!
