We lost a true gentleman today, one of S.E. Qld's well known rodders is in peace now, after battling medical issues for the last twelve months....
Chris seemed to be everywhere since his retirement, juggling home and family life , and his passion for the old Fords...loved building them, but loved going to events, and along with wife Heather, you may have bumped into them at events all around the East Coast...
Some will remember fondly his passion for model cars, and did a superb job in ASR of telling stories about models, and modifying them, captured your imagination with his words...but his collection at home was the proof..he loved this scene as much as the full size cars...
had lots of cars over the years, but most will remember the model 40 love affair he had, with his red steel US 5 window, and this black Cabriolet.
always enjoyed his company, and tried to make it to most of the mid week runs, boy's day runs, coffee mornings, he loved the social aspect.
Condolences to Heather and all the extended family.....he will be greatly missed..R.I. P. Chris, your new journey has just begun.......................
