Your mid-Nov fix!

Not much time this week...has been a big rush...home from Yamba and wanted to clean the bottom, inside, and top of the Tudor ready for the Kuhnemann wedding this weekend....Gave her a wax job, some much needed interior detail, and it's like a new car!..Nicky travelled with her Dad in the roadster, while Shanes 46, malcolms 32, and mine took the rest of the wedding party.

Darryl looked a tad nervous...but was thrilled to walk Nicky down the aisle.Dianne was beaming, seeing her daughter about to become Mrs White.
Congratulations....Nicky and Ricky White in New Farm Park....

and the pic below....  good friend of Darryls, Steve Dupond was there.....so I had to mention the pic in the book that Chris Dansie loaned me....this was early 70s at Coffs Harbour Rod Run. That's Steve doin' skids on the beach......Steve is having a new Brookville 3W built by Darryl K..........(lost in the smoke is Mick Ilseys bucket....and at the top, Dave Gardners tub, Gordon McManus bucket, and Jim Greedys coupe)

Reminder about this weeks mid week rod run.

We are off to the MOO MOO Roadhouse this Thursday coming, 21st Nov. it has an ASRF sanction, so any cars can attend.......meet at BP Yatala at 9:45, or BP Chinderah at 11:00 (QLD time).....there we will meet up with Dennis Cambell and others, and travel to Moball for lunch.......(arriving about 12:00QLD, /1:00 pmNSW time!!)

Texas update:: Les just sent some pics of his Friday night...at a local gridiron football match.Aledo vs Burlison....surrounding suburbs to his west/Fort Worth location.

Plenty of good high school band entertainment. Americans are impressive with their sports and entertainment packages, ...That's more off his bucket list!
Now..you all know my drag race background...well good friend from the old days, Camp Stanley, with his son John driving...just set a new world record for E.T........a 5.644 backed up with a 5.648 during qualifying......this is on as I am writing, so lets hope he can turn it into a win at Las Vegas Dragstrip!...(Quickest I ever went was 6.66, so hasn't technology come a long way in 20 years!!).I will post a video link of the run, just to show how "easy" he made it look.
