3 interesting stories from today...

 Darren just had a common problem with a Chev, where the top of the valve rounds off, the rocker tilts, it cuts the guide groove in the head out...and just eventually falls apart.....the regular way to fix is to remove the head, machine them for screw in studs, and fit guide plates, and new valves....here's is darrens two hour home fix....
 He screwed the thread all the way down on both studs, dropped a guide plate over them, machined a pair of ultra thin nuts to hold the plate down, then got a lash cap and fitted to the valve, thereby squaringthe whole deal up and re-aligning the push rod!!
 Les stumbled across this wind up window 37 at a shop just near Weatherford...
 Looked like a stalled project...just no one home to ask what the story is.
