Sorta wet Toowoomba swapmeet..

So...the annual trek to the showgrounds for Qlds biggest swap...just about every site sold this year, so lots or walking to find the bargains...think there was about 2000 site holders...here's our little patch on the oval..
The usual Saturday morning display of cars lining the oval was the best yet....every spot taken, and really great variety of cars....probably 1/2 of them for sale..
shy opened up a few times, but no heavy rain, just annoying drizzle, but huge numbers of people there, which surprised me, considering the week of rain preceding..
no idea why I took this shot..
or this one...maybe just to show the spread of the swap sites..
for hotrodders...plenty of new to choose from...
as well as plenty of used....
sprung!...looking at the weird back on this roadster...
as usual, come 2pm Sat. arvo, everyone started to pack up..strange, as it is a Sat/Sun swap..
went back Sun morning for an hour, there would have been maybe 20% of the sires there....makes you think if it was better when it was a Fri arvo/Sat swap, as everyone wants to head for home on the Sunday...the chance of heavy rain may not have helped either..was a bit muddy Sunday..
so, back to our motel room at the Hotel Case, to check out how Josh is going with his 28 roadster...

By the way, if you didn't figure out the last post, just click on the name "Joe Rooney", and the video will start...
