My favourite Nitro funny car team...Gary & Joanne Densham....they were over in Brissy recently, and a few of us caught up for dinner...Gary has been a household name in Australian drag racing since the days when Surfers Paradise bought him over for a headline show....check his racing buddy for the tour back in 1976....first time ever in a nitro car...John Force!!
Gary has an incredible career, both racing, and teaching shop at schools in Sth Calif.
Currently, only races a few of the big NHRA events c;lose to home..but spends a lot of time in the nostalgia F/C races with son Steven
