Sunday..moved on to Indianapolis..

couldn't resist these last pics from our motel...interesting engineering in the US!
 fenders..mufflers...who needs 'em?
 step that frame up.....
 add a bit....
and lets go!...so ends my NSRA report...
we knew about a vintage race on at the Indy course, but thought it was the older Offys etc., it wasn't, but still enjoyable 6 hours....
even at 10am, there was about three men n a dog watching...
now I don't know what all these are..but definitely awesome old race cars..
this cut down jigger was the fastest..
even had an aussie entrant..all the way from the darling Downs..oldest running documented rrace car in Australia...1922, from memory..

co-pilot was ex Willowbank Dragstrip commentator, Paul Casos.

Yeah, a few more turned up to watch...

At lunch-break, we got to stand on the start/finish bricks

US does their Patrioism well...Indiana State Song and the Anthem..

wish I could load a video, the Nostalgia V8s had open headers, and were LOUD!

running out of time to go pick up the women, so a quick trip to the infield museum.

That's it..Sat 27/7 we arrived, now Indy was 8 days later...a THIRD of the trip done already!!
