 You have to hand it to Rapisarda Racing...look at those matching trailers...I hear they now have 9 complete Top Fuellers, between here and those based in USA....must be good money in crane hire!!...

 Old racing buddie Maurice Fabietti was one of the 18 Top Doorslammers trying to get in an 8 car field....these things cost about 1/2 a million to build now...

 The jet track drier we bought in for Willowbank...still has the old company decal on the front..

 And nice to see the memory lane area, saluting all the previous champs...27 years since I was the S/S champ..

maintenance goes on into the wee hours...if you saw tonights news, the Lammatina top fuel car split in half, ..that's why they have to check and recheck everything on these cars....anyway...at about 6:30, it was getting too cold for me, so back home to get ready for the next day...a trip up to "Downunder Beachfest" at Caloundra.
