So, once again, my coffee morning fell on the big race day...maybe that's why not as many came along...like most Aussie males, we love to be glued to the screen early Sunday in October for what we all think is the best darn circuit race in the world!!
Bathurst has come a long way since the Imps cirled the mountain....and was great to see Lowndsy take a win again, even if it was in a Holden.....I thought the fords would get in, this year....
Anyway...7 am saw lots of cars turn up, some new, but most just regulars...a good mix of early n late.
Only filled about 2 1/2 rows, which is about 35 I counted....perect weather as usual..
Even Tom Fulton made an appearance!....all we have to do now is encourage him to get back into hot-rodding...(in case you didn't know, Tom has spent the last few years becoming local/state/national pistol shooting champ)
John Isaacs now has the dropped axle and lowered rear spring in the stocker A sport coupe..looks great.
I said...bring a seat...SCP Automotive trimming had there drum seats on display...

so, then I raced home for the start of bathurst.....
and so went my day....like every other car-nut male...stuck to the TV for 7 hours..
