The Woolies carpark lacked lighting, so some cars were just lost to the dark...note I only took pics where some street lights were, so this could use some fixing before the next one....apparently, this will be a monthly event,
it was ridiculous trying to look at the cars...way too dark..
The entertainment was great...good music, rock n rollers, lots of family, and good to see local mainstream folks out for the night, and getting introduced to the retro/car atmosphere.
No shortage of food vans in the closed off Bloomfield Street, and only a 5 minute walk back to the marina area, where the Raby Bay Markets was also on, and down there, any number of food shops available for sit-down dinner..
Garry and Deb Moore had their 55 Ford Courier on display......next to daughter Cassie and husband Steves display
SCP Cassie n Steve were pushing their upholstery andcoach-builder skills
So..a bit of rain, but didn't stop the crowds...local council were out in support, local SES helping with the crowd/parking, this could turn into a very well attended event..of course, if we ever get daylight saving, that would help events like this as well..
