awesome winter weather for my mid-week lunch run..

The day was a cracker..ended up at 28C..(that's about 80, for you Farenheit folks)..Hot Rod Royalty here, both started S.E.Qld rodding in early 60s... Ron and Evan brought their cool  coupes along...
plenty of parking for the 22 cars that turned up, as well as all the normal customers...this business, Green Frog Hollow has come along in leaps and bounds since their start a couple of years ago..
Jeff Chandlers somewhat new sedan was there...very nice car, great paint job, interesting colour
 Ford/Ford/Ford/Ford/Ford and Foord....who gets this?...
convertibles were out in force today..like Sue n Glenn Watts...Queensland ..the Sunshine State!
 sedans..coupes...pickups...great roll-up..Foord Ford and a Wilson Ford..
a pair of utes, with polar opposite styles...good to see,.... Dave and Doug
shows how good Henry designed his Fords...love Toms 37 coupe, as well as Brians Fairlane coupe.
three brands, three lots of fun...Lyn & Marion, Col & Dawn, and Gary & Deb had the breeze blowing thru their hair today..
Hot rodding law when it comes to 32 Fords..."You either have one...or you want one"...lol..luckily, I have a sort of good sedan, (see my story at the end) and Ken n Marie have their ever popular tub
Chris was there as usual, hardly ever misses a coffee morning or mid week lunch run.
Green Frog Hollow Home n Garden, landscape centre, and cafe......that's a mouthful..
Peter snuck in late, just in time for lunch..

Thanks for coming...and don't forget guys..bring your wives /girlfriends next time..the more, the merrier..
Tricia set us up in the outside undercover area...nice surroundings..
line up for food was stretched out the door, with the 48 of us that turned up, as well as all the regular lunchtime customers..
above and below.. as  you can see...we all had a great day out...come along next time!..August 18th, we go to the Beerwah Pub

Had a bit of a hiccup on the way home...dang deuce stopped on the M1 at Meadowbrook...but I got it fired up again after 10 minutes.....then stopped again out the back of Springwood....think the gonkulator valve got overheated, or it might have been the thiminy-jig..anyway...I coaxed the ol gal home, and have ordered a new fuel pump, some header wrap, some fuel pipe insulation, and I'll check the timing tomorrow, as the thing was SOO Hot...you couldn't put your hands on the RH hood louvres..fuel pump was hot, so was the fuel line..seems like as soon as it hits 190 degrees, the fuel pump, or fuel delivery goes haywire...maybe it's the air con condensor out front slowing the air...might need an electric fan, or make a shroud.. but i do like stock type mechanical ones, just can't get one big enough in there...just another little thing to fix...the joys of hot rods..
Anyway..that's another job...put the Tudor away, and cracked a Corona...cheers, for a good day out!!
