We were back in town late afternoon, just in time to go to the local Thursday night car show at Boo Rays, in Hudson Oaks, just west of Fort Worth..some pics below of some of the cars..
some interesting engineering..like the steering link bent to clear..

You know my feelings on these..never-never-never should be allowed...but, the workmanship is there, and the builder and family just love it...

the dead dirt trackers got the flick for another pair of Cokers...whitewalls this time...
and have since learned...they make 'em outa round...wore out his uni joints on the first drive...

Charlies shop..spent plenty of time in here...the three window got sold the week we arrived, so next to go is his Vicky..and then maybe the Tudor..
Saturday saw us take the trip down to Cisco area for a
lunch run to Loco Coyote
travelled back thru the town of Granbury....this is one neat town, about 1/2 hour south of Fort Worth
lotza old buildings along with the modern..
nice lake as well..
made a trip over to the new Summit Racing facility
Les W...waiting for parts..
and checked out a new 1/8 mile dragstrip east of Dallas..
so that ended my 20 days on the road with Les...after this, I flew to New York to start my 34 day trip..driving across country to Los Angeles...highlights in another blog..
