A bit of everything from my week at Yamba Rod Run

So...we gathered at our usual spot for some bench-racing....didn't see Roy..but Les, Shane, Ken Nev, Mal Doug and Darryl kept us entertained
I got hit with a tickly throat, so tried to avoid everyone...even the Deuce hardly moved the whole week!   until the kidlets got there..then it cruised a bit...
Younger son Chris came down for the weekend....so family time in the pool was on, especially with the 40 degree days...and all away from the G20 rubbish..
Eli went down the slides a gazillion times....loved it!!
Finally....a win for Paul...after 9 years of jumping thru hoops, he finally has rego on the Hudson.....and it got in the Top 10 as well...congratulations..
Wilkie, Mole and Case......showing three different frnt end styles...
And....the winner of top looking tyre....goes to Wazza...a few subtle changes saw the Wilkies 32 5W get in the Top 10 as well..
I love this old jigger...Pete has the touch in making it so simple, but so cool!
Wardie......as impressive as ever....top notch cars always from the Taree Street Rodders..
 Here's Petes nascar inspired Chev........
and a better shot of the patina'd deuce
always cool to see originals.....and think what you could do to them...
Neat Model A from ben in Armidale was for sale...$48k from memory.
Eli and I sharing some popcorn, while the rods cruised by our room....
Then Hollye took Eli and Emma for a spin......Hang on!!

Les got in the Top 10 as well....sure is deserving...a neat deuce sedan...and it's genuine all steel.....with a 'glass body....hahahah
black hiboys get me every time...this is nice!
 Yep...it's a Hemi.....and runs like a Swiss watch.....
New build for this weekend for Tom Buckles...also got a Top 10
This got me going as well...looks really neat
and flattie powered roadsters have my attention lately.
later 49 type flattie was dressed to the nines..
I love this car.......how cool would you be with a Merc Ute!!
Dick Bushell had his new coupe power parked there...well, it is his home town..
What is it with kids n fire trucks.....or do the mothers just like the firemen?
Wayne Barber had this LHD phaeton for sale...$50k
another recent import for Cliffy Wiles is this stock convertible, he's about to hot rod it....new frame, later drivetrain and suspension....it's a great car to start from.
our usual bunch of friends told the same stories in the BBQ hut.....love it!
Monday morning...hardly anyone stayed this year...here's Dale n Lisa going for a last lap in Kevins hemi powered roadster
so that's it for another twelve months....just remember the club will probably cap the numbers for next years run, as over 400 is just too many for the park and the main street...so get in early.....I'm hoping they have a cut-off as well in the year of manufacture...something in the mid 60s I would think if it was up to me...
