I had heard about this event for a long time, and thought, why not take the Boys run there...
What a fun filled day...walking the pits, talking to all the drivers about there cars...doesn't matter if it's a hot rod, race car, speedway..we all have a love of cars, and appreciate the time and effort that goes into our favourite style of "toy"
Now..nothing more iconic than going to Lakeside raceway..been a part of the Qld race scene for well over 60 years now,

we had our own mini car show going..about 30 cars from memory..
but then the highlight...they asked us if we wanted to do ten minutes of laps during the lunch break...
wow..lets go....man..hard to take pics and turn corners..lol
1st off the grid!
and started passin' cars...those 4 1/2" rims where not real suited!!!
great day..will definitely do it again one day!!
