Weekend away....annual Deuces Run to Kingscliff area

 Great to see new cars.....Wally Rudken made a welcome return to our hobby...TAC inspected and registered early in the week...first run to our Deuces Limited clubs annual get-away at Drifters caravan Park in Tweed Heads area.

 We always like to see friends join in..Dennis and Lynne Cambell not only came for lunch Friday....they organised, planned, phoned, photo copied, and led the way to the Sat lunch destination, a 50 km drive thru the back of the Tweed..(thank you very much!)
 Club secretary Ken Brown up from Iluka..Julie and Ken organised most of the breakfast supplies, so thanks are in order..
 Ken mentioned about all the plates with references to the 32...so here's his..

 New members from Toowoomba , Gary n Kerry Wilkins in their refurbished 3 w...the plates give it away...this has a bunch of racing heritage, originally from the old Junkyard Dog team.

 Longhorn Les had ol' faithful tudor, took the weekend off from his multi hot rod building weekend chores..
 Warren n Kerry Wilkie also took time off from their busy Toowoomba Rod N Custom shop , and their all steel 5 w was lookin' purty...
 More old school plates....OOO532 obviously referring to the 4w...I have the earlier in the series, OOO032...and no, they aren't for sale!

 Brendab from Palm Beach made the huge 15 minute trip to join us for lunch...even bought his hiboy and his fendered roadsters!
 His sidey powered roadster is looking as good as ever.......
 So...we took over the park in front of the pub...very late model 32 in this pic..

 think we had about 18 cars their.....not too bad for us..
 Locals were wrapped in the mini car show that greeted them...

 September brings on the good weather...just a couple of showers over the weekend.
 Dougie had us all laughing as usual.....his stories should go into a book...it'd be a best seller!

 Ruby was pleased we came home, and  got to ride shotgun in the Tudor..
