Last weekend was the High Altitude Run in Toowoomba, and normally, this is a must do event on the S.E. Qld calendar..now I'm wondering if there are too many events on these days, or are we just getting busy...I had other commitments, so couldn't attend, but those who went say it was a smaller run than normal, only about 80 entrants..and that can be good or bad, small runs might be easy to manage, but hard to cater for..I hear the club had very few pre-entries in, so even harder to figure how to cater..I sometimes think it just comes down to so many choices these days..Brisbane had multiple events that cater for the same crowd, without the expense of accommodation for two nights..I'm not sure where the answer lies..but usually, Toowoomba host a great run, lets hope there is more support next year..
