wow..look at the stats...

Never ceases to amaze me about how many people follow this blog...over 90,000 views to date since 2011 when I started..but, 111 yesterday...wow....and another milestone coming up soon, this is blog# 794..should crack 800 by April sometime...
Yesterday was my "Boys Day Out" run..
Not a big crowd..18 from memory, but the rain or work may have stopped some..still, a great day, and...there was no rain during the 6 hours it took..
was well worth the trip to SHED 27...for a couple of reasons..just to see the work they do in the community, mentoring young kids that have lost their way, having a "mens shed" type of work, that invlolves cars and metel working, as opposed to the run of the mill wood craft ones..but Tim Bartrop gave us hot rodders a fill in about how SHED 27 will figure in all future S.E. Qld hot rodding, as all cars have to go here for their 2nd and 3rd inspections..Toowoomba to the Gold Coast, North a fair way..ALL have to come here, for a more accurate inspection process, and the Qld. Transport love the idea, so we are back on track with the best rego scheme in Australia..

one section devoted to construction of trailers
lunch and conference rooms upstairs..TAC office as well
 big shed!
Lunch was on the way at Capalaba Sports Club, then the short drive to Victoria point where we finished the day with a visit to SCP Automotive where they specialise in custom upholstery, and fabrication of interior parts, and more..
It was one of the better days we have had..
I missed some of the pics from Toowoomba Rod and Custom open day...here's the rest..
