Coffee...August 16...2015..

Well...a great turn-out for my 40th Coffee n Cars event...it's been three years since I started this in August 2012, and no looking back....
funny though how the numbers don't change too much, but there are new cars at nearly every morning....if everyone turns up at once....we'd have about 200 cars!
someone mentioned they counted 45 today...that's all good...sometimes, like today...I hardly had time to take photos, or catch up with people...got too side-tracked..

What I love to see....old and new..swappin' stories..

Just a reminder..next coffee is Sept 6...I can't be there...but everyone else will roll in as usual...so come along, starts at 7, go whenever it suits you...

By the time I stopped talking, and wanted to take pics....most of the cars were gone!
anyone notice Longhorn Les has "lost" the teardrops, and fitted original style lights and bumpers...pity he didn't know a painter to finish the fenders....
a new visitor was Floyd , who came over from Redcliffe....he was the guy that when in Mt Isa, and 16 years old, bought the old Lymberry metalflaked 32 roadster for $600....and sold it a year later....maybe he will get the urge to start a hot rod project now!!...just sayin'....
Reminder for my next mid-week run...we go to the Beerwah pub for lunch...meet us there, or join us at the BP pictured below...Burpengary..10 am...
We will leave to go up Steve Irwin Way at around 10:30..10:45...see u there!
Couldn't resist passing on some Doctors advice.........
two weeks to Spring...the snakes are moving around....they are nice..but not in the garage where I'm working....
As a matter of interest...this is the pics from the first coffee morning I did...August 5 2012....nice to see it has grown so well...about 11 cars by the looks...

These two pics from Graham Didlick help to show the difference in three years...many more cars, but lots more people along as well.....you don't need a hot rod, or any car for that matter...just come along for the coffee/catch-up..
