So..here we are..late August..

In between trips to the doc and to hospital for some minor skin issues....I have managed to get all the brake and fuel lines just about done on the coupe..
Also started on the thru-hole needed for the weld in tube that will hold the top bolt for the steering box
Tailpipes almost don n hung...fuel n brake lines almost done..will be time to break it all apart and start welding again soon...trouble is, with multiple stitches in my lower back now, can't do anything heavy or stretchy until the cut heals and stiches are taken out....bummer gettin' old...haha.
So, may as well find more parts I don't need...here is a Vertex lookalike with internal electronic setup, I have two of these, and this one just came back from being testaed...it works fine, according to the sparky....suits a small or big block Chev, and is selling for $400.
Couple of column drops that came off some USA columns I bought...so LHD shaped....the black 5" drop has 1 3/4 hole, and is $25,
The other looks like a Limeworks, about 2" drop, and 1 3/4 hole, and say...about $50...think these are $110US new..
Probably not a hot seller, but this ford Windsor to early Ford trans is certainly old school, and is for sale for $190
I now have5 dropped axles...don't need this many, so this new Forged So-Cal axle can go, as long as i get $350 for it...with the falling $$$, they are just getting dearer with exch rate and shipping...
I still have another old 1932 coupe/tudor windshield frame that I don't need, so $180 will buy it...it's not pretty, has a bit of rust coming thru the chrome in a big way...but for a patina car, might just fit the bill!
Reminder..this Thursday, 27th August...mid week run to Beerwah Pub.
Brissy folks, meet at the BP Burpengary at 10am....we will leave after a while and go up Steve Irwin way to the pub..
Spring is around the corner.....time to shake off those cold winter days n nights and get into the shed!!
